About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established Construction & Engineering Firm, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Site Manager, overseeing construction works onsite, including supervising and coordinating craftsmen and subcontractors. This role requires a professional with a Civil Engineering degree, membership in ETEK, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction sector. Fluency in both Greek and English is essential. The position offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of a Site Engineer under the supervision of the Site Manager
- Supervise and coordinate the work of craftsmen and subcontractors
- Prepare measurements for material orders and subcontractor payments
- Monitor the schedule of the projects
- Ensure health and safety compliance on the construction site
- Adhere to company procedures
Requirements
- Holder of a degree in Civil Engineering
- Member of ETEK or a corresponding professional body
- 3+ years’ experience in the construction sector
- Integrity, organizational ability, responsibility, initiative and discernment
- Understanding and implementation of construction plans
- Ability to operate in a demanding environment with tight deadlines
- Productivity and ability to manage subordinates effectively
- Strong time management and resource allocation skills
- Fluency in both Greek and English (reading, writing, and communication)
