About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a well-established Construction & Engineering firm with a 60-year history, is seeking a Site Manager to join their Nicosia team. The successful candidate will oversee onsite construction, managing project quality, costs, and timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, preparing monthly progress reports, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Applicants should have a degree in Civil Engineering, be ETEK members, and possess 10+ years of experience in the construction sector. Fluency in Greek and English, along with strong leadership and management skills, are essential. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is offered based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction site, for quality, time, and cost.
- Coordinate work of subcontractors and appointed subcontractors.
- Prepare measurements for material orders and subcontractor payments.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for projects.
- Monitor the schedule of projects.
- Measure projects for tenders as required.
- Responsible for health and safety issues at the construction site.
- Comply with company procedures.
- Prepare the project work programme.
Requirements
- Holder of a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Member of ETEK or a corresponding professional body recognized by ETEK.
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in the construction sector.
- Integrity of character, organizational ability, responsibility, initiative and discernment.
- Understanding and implementation of construction plans.
- Able to operate in an environment with increased demands and within required deadlines.
- Productive and able to set corresponding demands from subordinates.
- Ability to properly manage time, available resources and proper hierarchy of the work schedule.
- Able to read, write and communicate in Greek and English.
