About the Role
Our client is a well-established company operating in the food service and quick-service restaurant sector in Cyprus. On behalf of them we are looking for a Store Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, achieving commercial targets, leading and developing the team, maintaining strong financial and operational controls, and delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the store’s daily operations and ensure sales, profitability, and operational targets are achieved
- Support the annual budgeting and business planning process together with the Operations Manager
- Monitor income, expenses, stock levels, wastage, and overall store performance
- Ensure stock, equipment, cash handling, and administrative procedures are managed correctly
- Lead, motivate, train, and monitor the performance of store employees
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and maintain strong team communication
- Support local marketing and promotional activities
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, HACCP requirements, employment legislation, and relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintain high customer service standards and ensure customer issues are handled professionally and promptly
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the business with customers, employees, and external contacts
Requirements
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Previous experience as a Store Manager will be considered an advantage
- Assistant Store Managers or candidates with similar supervisory experience will also be considered
- Willingness to perform all store-related duties, including food preparation and cleaning tasks
- Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team effectively
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
