About the Role
Our client, a store founded in 1978 in Limassol, is seeking a Store Supervisor. The company specializes in importing and distributing selected DIY products for both professionals and individuals. This role involves overseeing departmental operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will also focus on continuous process improvement, effective change management, and fostering a supportive work environment. This is a key leadership position responsible for staff coordination, development, and achieving strategic goals within the department.
Responsibilities
- Coordination, supervision, and monitoring of departmental operations to ensure tasks are carried out accurately, with quality, and within predefined timeframes
- Continuous effort to improve processes and systems, along with effective change management
- Ensuring the availability of necessary resources and a suitable working environment for the execution of departmental tasks
- Communicating the company’s strategic goals to staff and the role each department plays in achieving them
- Setting departmental objectives and distributing them among team members
- Providing ongoing support and feedback to staff and resolving work-related issues
- Evaluating staff members in accordance with the company’s current Performance Evaluation System
- Utilizing and developing the professional capabilities of department personnel
- Motivating team members to improve their performance
- Ensuring timely preparation, entry, and monitoring of work schedules and annual leave plans for department staff
- Other related duties
Requirements
- High school or technical school graduate
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar leadership position
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration or another relevant field will be considered an additional asset
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word)
