About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of a well-established professional services provider in Cyprus, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing team in Nicosia. In this role, you will review tax compliance work for a broad portfolio of clients, identify and present direct tax opportunities and risks, and assist with Transfer Pricing studies and DAC-6 reporting. The role suits a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with at least four years of dedicated tax experience within an audit or tax advisory setting.
Responsibilities
- Review tax compliance work including computations and tax risk assessments for client portfolios
- Review tax returns for individuals and corporate entities
- Identify and present direct tax opportunities and risks per tax legislation and treaties
- Handle tax enquiries, investigations, and examinations with tax authorities
- Support the closing of tax affairs during liquidations, strike-offs, and reorganizations
- Prepare or assist in preparing Transfer Pricing studies complying with OECD Guidelines
- Prepare tax ruling requests and DAC-6 reports
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Qualified ACA or ACCA
- 4+ years of relevant tax practice experience in an audit or consultancy firm
- ADIT or similar professional qualification is considered an advantage
- VAT knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Tax Law and EU tax directives
- Experience in Transfer Pricing (TP) studies and DAC-6 reporting
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills
