Trainee Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Learn the ins & outs of back office market support.
• Develop and execute regional sales plans in accordance with the company's commercial strategy.
• Achieve established sales, turnover, and gross profit targets.
• Identify new customers, distribution channels, and business development opportunities.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
• Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms, and commercial agreements within approved company policies.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer demand, and pricing developments.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, warehouse, finance, and marketing departments to ensure effective product availability and distribution.
• Monitor stock levels, sales forecasts, customer orders, and product performance.
• Supervise and motivate the regional sales team, where applicable, and monitor individual performance against targets.
• Monitor customer credit exposure, outstanding payments, and compliance with approved credit terms.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, market analyses, and performance reviews for senior management.
• Recommend measures to improve profitability, operational efficiency, customer retention, and market share.
• Visit regularly the markets he will be assigned.

Requirements

• The candidates should be studying or studied Business management and imperatively speak French & or Arabic. Both would be an advantage
