About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, a market-leading engineering Firm, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team in Larnaca. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire operations of the factory warehouse. This includes the receipt, storage, inventory management, and issuance of materials and tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency both within the warehouse and at project locations. The role requires proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory management practices, along with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of received materials
- Communicate discrepancies promptly to the procurement department
- Issue materials based on authorized requisitions
- Generate accurate delivery notes for material dispatches and maintain documentation
- Coordinate timely dispatch and delivery to production or project sites
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock balances
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies promptly
- Maintain accurate records of all company-owned tools and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of tools inventory
- Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and availability of tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Implement effective space utilization and warehouse layout planning
- Enforce safety and compliance with warehouse operational procedures
- Supervise and train warehouse staff
Requirements
- Proven experience of approximately 3+ years as a Warehouse Manager, Storekeeper, or similar role
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ERP, SAP, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and team leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with construction or façade contracting industry materials (plus)
- Certification or training in warehouse or logistics management is desirable
- Proficiency in English and Greek languages (both verbal and written)
