About the Role
CareerFinders, on behalf of their client, the exclusive importer of top motorcycle and ATV brands, with expanding operations in Nicosia, is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Manager. The successful applicant will manage the daily warehouse operation, ensuring all activities are completed efficiently and according to company procedures. The role requires managing people, setting priorities, following up on performance, solving daily operational issues, and working alongside the team when required. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field, coupled with proven experience in warehouse management, stock control, logistics, or a similar operational role. Essential skills include experience with ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, warehouse documentation, and fluency in both Greek and English.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily warehouse operation, ensuring all activities are completed efficiently and according to company procedures
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a sizeable warehouse team
- Allocate daily tasks, set priorities, monitor attendance, productivity, accuracy, discipline, and teamwork
- Provide guidance, resolve daily operational issues, and support the team during peak periods
- Collect and prepare customer orders, including locating products, checking accuracy and condition, packing, and preparing dispatch documentation
- Manage product returns, condition assessments, and related procedures, ensuring proper documentation
- Manage goods receiving, document checks, labelling, product placement, and stock movements
- Organise and conduct regular stock counts, investigate differences, and ensure inventory reliability
- Coordinate stock movements between company stores and locations, ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment, ensuring procedures and safety standards are followed
- Use ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse documentation for various tasks
- Monitor the responsible use of company vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, correct usage, and scheduled servicing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in warehouse management, stock control, logistics, or a similar operational role
- Previous experience supervising or managing a warehouse team
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and hold people accountable
- Hands-on experience in picking, packing, dispatching, receiving, stock movement, and stock counts
- Experience using ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse documentation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and solve daily operational problems
- Fluency in Greek and English is essential
- Reliable, accountable, practical, and willing to work hands-on when required
- Professional attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills
