About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage and body treatments in line with established professional standards, ensuring an excellent and personalised guest experience.
• Consult with guests to identify their needs, preferences and wellness objectives, recommending appropriate treatments accordingly.
• Adapt treatment techniques, products and therapies to suit each guest’s individual requirements.
• Maintain a welcoming, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the guest experience, including arrival, consultation, treatment and aftercare.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment and products before appointments and ensure they are maintained to the required standards.
• Adhere to strict hygiene, cleanliness, health and safety requirements at all times.
• Deliver treatments with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail, respecting each guest’s comfort and privacy.
• Provide relevant aftercare guidance and recommend suitable treatments or wellness products when appropriate.
• Keep accurate guest consultation records, treatment notes and appointment details.
• Promote wellness treatments and products where appropriate, contributing to guest satisfaction and departmental revenue.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of massage methods, wellness trends, treatments and products through ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with the Wellness team to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the department.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Professional qualification or certification in Massage Therapy, Wellness Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Massage Therapist or Wellness Therapist in a luxury spa, hotel or wellness setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of massage techniques and body treatments.
• Good understanding of guest care, wellness practices and professional treatment standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, professional and guest-oriented approach.
• Ability to identify and respond appropriately to individual guest needs and preferences.
• Fluency in English is required, additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Professional appearance and a genuine interest in wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a professional wellness team.
• Hands-on position involving prolonged standing and physical activity throughout the shift.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the Company’s grooming, hygiene and uniform standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays and special events, depending on operational requirements.
